Our Year in Review
2019 has been a year of continued success at The Residences at Dockside. Here are a few of our favorite moments of the past year:
Clubhouse Redesign Underway
We were so excited to announce the complete redesign of our Clubroom this November! Leading interior design firm, Gacek Design Group will bring a modern, luxurious update to the space for our residents to enjoy. To be completed early 2020, the new design will blend seamlessly with the rest of the building’s interior while incorporating nautical and art deco elements. Using mahogany and distressed woods, combined with linen fabrics and historic colors, the updated decor will bring a feeling of understated luxury to the space. With new state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, ample seating, and a sleek new design, the updated Clubroom will expand the possibilities of the experience here at Dockside. The new and improved Clubroom will be a great hub for entertaining and relaxing with friends and neighbors!
Dockside Recognized as a Gold Star Community
The Residences at Dockside was recognized as a Gold Star Community by the Community Association Institute! CAI’s Gold Star Community program recognizes those communities that work hard to develop and maintain standards, encourage community participation, maintain fiscal stability and positively impact the quality of life for residents.
Delaware River Cleanup Event
This summer, members of The Residences at Dockside community partnered with the Delaware Estuary and Aqua Vida to clean up the Delaware river! The 34 volunteers were able to remove over 1,200 pounds of trash in just an hour. Thank you to the residents from Dockside who showed up! It is lovely to see our community taking initiative and being involved in making the waterfront even more beautiful for everyone.
Fireworks on The Waterfront
There have been so many amazing things happening on the waterfront this year. From pop-up beer gardens to art installations and flea markets, we are so happy to be a part of such a thriving community in Philadelphia. Our favorite event is still to come, though – the New Years Eve Fireworks on the waterfront! Wishing all of you in the Dockside a community a Happy New Year!
