This River Was Made for Walking…

Dockside shoeprints… and that’s exactly what we did Sunday, on our walking tour exploring the rich history of Philadelphia’s Delaware Riverfront! It was a cold October day, but we put on our walking shoes, our warm jackets and gloves, and joined a great group of Dockside residents, potential residents and other friends for this fun, informative adventure along the river, up under the Ben Franklin Bridge, and to other interesting waterfront sites!

Harry Kyriakodis
Noted author and Philadelphia historian Harry Kyriakodis (on a warmer day!)

Our guide was noted author and Philadelphia historian, Harry Kyriakodis. Harry is a good friend of Dockside and the author of several books on the history of Philadelphia. A graduate of La Salle University and Temple University School of Law, he gives walking tours and presentations on unique yet unappreciated parts of our city.

If you missed the fun this time, here are a few more pictures from our walk…

Stay tuned – we’ll certainly do this again, and we’d love to have you join us on our next walking tour! Keep checking our blog for details on other fun and exciting activities taking place at or around Dockside. There’s always something going on here at Philly’s favorite waterfront condo destination!
