One Sweetheart of a Reception
We had a terrific time last week at our annual Dockside “Sweetheart Reception”! Our sweethearts gathered in the Dockside Clubroom last Wednesday night to enjoy some delicious Valentine’s treats and a great performance by the Rich Hill Trio.
Living at Dockside, our residents are never at a loss for social or recreational opportunities. Homeowner Geno Vento is often at the center of the action. “It’s fantastic,” he said. “Every second Thursday of the month we have a big social event in the Club Room. Anybody who’s new in the building, we try to tell them about it. A lot of us go out to dinner, or to shows or movies, or maybe a piano bar. We’re constantly hanging out and doing things together. Your neighbors here, they become like friends and family to you. And it’s a really nice mix of people – older, younger, every mix you can imagine. There’s a really strong sense of community. Dockside is a treasure.”
