This Sunday at Penn’s Landing, celebrate Mexican culture at MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY 2012!
The 202nd celebration of the Mexican Independence will take place on Sunday, September 16h from 1:00-7:00 pm. The free Fiesta will take place on the RiverStage at Penn’s Landing, located on Columbus Boulevard at Chestnut Street. It’s the final festival as part of the 2012 PECO Multicultural Series at Penn’s Landing. Enjoy a taste of the rich Mexican culture at the festival and learn about Mexico’s past, while enjoying authentic Mexican food and arts and crafts, as vendors line the Great Plaza. Visitors are encouraged to dress in authentic Mexican attire for prizes!
