Dockside movie lovers: check out The Awesome Fest this weekend! Awesome Fest is partnering with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation to present this weekly series of free outdoor movie screenings every Saturday night at 8:30 at the Race Street Pier. The films are independent features straight out of major festivals including Sundance and SXSW. This week: “The Dynamiter.”

The Awesome Fest was created as an outlet to bring the most cutting edge and just plain awesome titles from both the independent festival circuit, as well as Hollywood’s finest, to play some of the finest venues, and nontraditional spaces in the city. RACE STREET PIER INFORMATION: Guests are welcome to bring a lawn chair and picnic but park rules will prohibit glass, drinking alcohol, along with the use of skateboards, skates or recreational scooters. 
Dogs will be required to be on a leash and owners will be asked to pick up after them.
