Here’s something fun to do this weekend in Philly. Head over to the Franklin Institute to witness the rebirth of the Titanic, with an exciting new educational experience that looks at the history and culture of the colossal ship and its inhabitants. Opening in honor of the 100-year anniversary of the sinking of the ship, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition includes over 300 artifacts recovered from the underwater debris field of the ocean liner. Explore staterooms, ballrooms, and learn about life onboard the historic ship, while taking a chronological journey through the history of the ship, from its construction to its maiden (and final) voyage. The exhibit opens this Saturday, November 10th, and continues until April 7th, 2013.
